The alarming increase of old-age homes is a matter of serious concern. People moved from a large extended family system to a nuclear family for their selfish ends. They don’t have enough time to take care of their parents and gradually parents become a burden for them. And for the elderly, a roof over their heads is a critical need. So, this is where the need for old age homes lies.
